Here's How Energy Reserve Works:
Energy Reserve contains L-Carnitine, which serves two important functions: burning fat and the metabolism of branched
chain amino acids (BCAA's). L-Carnitine is a co-factor which is required for
transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria of your muscle cells where they
serve as a substrate for energy production while sparing muscle glycogen.
Carnitine deficiency causes the fatty acids to back-up and accumulate in the
blood ultimately resulting in additional deposition of fat, usually right in the
areas where you already have the greatest accumulation.
Energy Reserve works synergistically with branched chain amino acids to increase
their net metabolism. Remember that the BCAA's are the major amino acid
constituents of your muscles. An increase in the amino acid content of the
muscle will result in increased muscular hardness and new muscle tissue!
How Bodybuilders Use Energy Reserve:
We recommend a daily dose of six tablets distributed throughout the day. Take two
600 mg tablets upon arising, one tablet 45 minutes prior to training, two
tablets with ten Beverly International
Muscle Mass
or Muscularity
(BCAA's) thirty minutes after training and one prior to retiring. We use
this protocol for two weeks, take one week off, then we put the Energy Reserve
back in for the final one or two weeks.
We always use
Lean Out, 4 per day, in the off season to help keep fats and cholesterol
mobile in the body and to cleanse the liver. Starting at twelve weeks out we
double the Lean Out dose to 8 per day. At eight weeks out we go up to 12 per
day. Then at 4 - 5 weeks, we drop the Lean Out back to 4 per day and add in the
Energy Reserve as indicated above.
